I watched it the other day and i was like "yo, this is like stuffing plot down your face.
Was it just me or was there a little something going on between Red Star and Starfire? -wiggles eyebrows-

It may not have been much of a coincidence. In the comics, Red Star's original name was, in fact, Starfire. No joke.
Of course, this was before the alien came on the scene.
